oh hey there,
It’s lovely to meet you. I’m Hannah.
I’m a marketing coordinator by day and a photographer by sunset (or sunrise!). I’m also married to my wonderful husband Adam and most importantly, a follower of Christ.
When I’m not working, I love to travel (you can check out some of my favourite travel shots below), hike, run and play board games.
I have always loved to shoot people (with a camera, of course).
When I was six, a poster-making competition won me my first digital camera. Then in high school, I got a job at the local greengrocer and used my very first payslip to buy a new camera to take on a family holiday.
By the time 2020 came around that camera and I had outgrown each other, and in the spirit of new lockdown hobbies, I splurged and upgraded to a brand-new, mirrorless Nikon.
A few photoshoots with friends later and I was hooked. I taught myself how to shoot in manual, how to edit my photos, how to pose my clients… and enjoyed every single aspect of it.
And so… Hannah Shoots People was born.
